Home Façade

Street Facing Exterior
To knock down or renovate….While I am not for the before and after shots; here I couldn’t go without showing the improvement this front façade has had.
This Californian bungalow had a little cosmetic enhancement that was all worth it!
New rendered walls, extended roof over the front porch. Timber windows have been restored. New front door and new exterior colour scheme.
The front porch has tessellated tiles on the floor. Classic and elegant this entry area will not be outdated with time. The tiler did a fantastic job at laying each tile and following the pattern that was selected.
These hard wearing unglazed tiles have the colour going all the way through the tile. A patina will develop with time with constant wear and cleaning.
Most common in Victoria era these tiles can be applied for a modern home, here 3 colours were selected white, grey and black, the pattern is stunning with this colour selection.
When selecting colour and finishes for your home it is important to create a good balance between the hard surfaces like roof line, walls, driveway, paths and landscaping like the garden beds, planters and lawn that will soften and enhance the feature of the house.
